Look after your health – have a mammogram

On 24–25 September, we invite you to visit the mobile mammography unit outside our shopping centre

Prevention matters. Regular mammograms can detect changes that cannot be spotted during a breast self-examination. Early detection of abnormalities increases the chances of starting effective treatment quickly. 
That is why, on 24 and 25 September, we invite you to free mammograms outside the Auchan Piaseczno Shopping Centre.
A special mammography van will be available from 8.30 am to 3.00 pm. 
Screening times may be subject to change depending on the number of bookings.

To book a screening, please register in advance by telephone on 22 33 81 960 or 58 666 24 44. You can also register via the online form: https://www.luxmed.pl/dla-pacjenta/uslugi/diagnostyka/formularz-nfz-mammografia or via the Online Patient Account (IKP) and the mojeIKP app.  

Reception staff will check your eligibility for the screening via the National Health Fund’s Preventive Care Monitoring IT System, so please have your identity card to hand before the call, as you will need it to confirm your eligibility.

Under the Breast Cancer Prevention Programme funded by the National Health Fund (NFZ), women aged between 45 and 74 are eligible for a free mammogram:

• every 24 months – if they have not previously been diagnosed with a malignant tumour in the breast,
• every 12 months – if they have completed treatment for breast cancer and the 5-year post-treatment monitoring period
• every 12 months – if, five years after surgical treatment for breast cancer, they are still undergoing adjuvant hormone therapy (HT)

Women covered by the ‘Care for families at high, hereditary risk of breast or ovarian cancer’ programme or the ‘Comprehensive oncological care for patients with breast cancer’ programme are excluded from this scheme.

Please bring images or CDs from previous mammograms to your appointment if these were not carried out at a LUX MED centre.
